Week 9 Thursday Practice Injuries Report

The injuries report for Thursday's practice is very similar to Wednesday's (Week 9 Wednesday Practice Injuries Report) in terms of who was able to practice and who was not, the only exception was Peyton Hillis. Here are the major injury related news and updates from Thursday's practice around the NFL:

Kevin Kolb- was able to shed his walking boot, but still did not practice on Thursday. According to Adam Schefter, Kolb is unlikely to play. It appears more and more likely that John Skelton will be the starting quarterback this Sunday against the Rams.

Darren McFadden- did not practice on Thursday either. All signs point towards McFadden being out against the Broncos with Michael Bush getting the start and Taiwan Jones being the change of pace back.

Peyton Hillis- returned to practice and is now expected to be able to start against the Texans.

Willis McGahee- was limited in practice for the second straight day and coach John Fox said that McGahee will only play if he can use his surgically repaired hand to carry the football. On Wednesday, McGahee was optimistic that he can play on Sunday against the Raiders, but it is too early to tell.

Andre Johnson- did not practice and is considered a "game time decision" by coach Gary Kubiak.

Ryan Matthews- same as Wednesday, Matthews did not practice on Wednesday while Mike Tolbert (hamstring) had a full practice. Most signs point towards Matthews missing the game against the Packers and Tolbert could be in for a huge workload.

Daniel Thomas- was able to practice on a limited basis for a second straight day and Thomas is optimistic he will be available for Week 9.

Mark Ingram- also missed Thursday's practice and is unlikely to play in Week 9. Look for Pierre Thomas and Chris Ivory should split the early downs carries while Darren Sproles continues to be the passing back.

Julio Jones- was limited in practice again for the second straight day and is fully expected to start in a good matchup against the Colts.
