Week 10 Major Injuries Report from Sunday (Monday Update Part 2)

Original post: Week 10 Major Injuries Report from Sunday

As mentioned in Part 1, Week 10 Major Injuries Report from Sunday (Monday Update Part 1). Most of the original post from Sunday is included below with the updated parts in bold. If you want to read any old deleted portions refer to the link above.  Here is Part 2 of the update of the major injuries in the NFL on Sunday:

Frank Gore- suffered a knee injury in addition to the lingering ankle sprain and was out most of the second half. The knee injury is being labeled as just a bruise and no MRI was scheduled. Coach Jim Harbough said that Gore will play against the Cardinals in Week 11, but even if this holds, Kendall Hunter could be in line for a good amount of carries.

Matthew Stafford- played with a fractured index finger on his right throwing hand that probably was key in his disastrous afternoon, but is expected to play in Week 11. Stafford originally suffered the injury in Week 8 against the Broncos and plans to continue wearing gloves while playing through it.

Sidney Rice- suffered a mild concussion and there is no expectations yet on his availability for Week 11. There was no update today.

Doug Baldwin- left the game with a head injury and as with Rice, there is no word yet on his status for Week 11. There was no update today.

Michael Vick- broke two ribs on the second play of the game in Week 10 and coach Andy Reid was noncommittal on whether Vick will play in Week 11 against the Giants on Sunday. Early expectations are that he will not play and that Vince Young will get the start.

Matt Schaub- according to Adam Schefter, Schaub is done for the season with a Lisfranc injury to his right foot. Schaub is currently seeking a second opinion from Dr. Robert Anderson, but expectations are that surgery is the inevitable recommendation and he will be placed on I.R. Matt Leinart will start for the Texans in Week 12 after their bye week and T.J. Yates will be the backup.

LaDainian Tomlinson- has been diagnosed with a sprained left MCL and is not expected to practice on Tuesday. With the short turnaround this week, Tomlinson's chances of playing on Thursday against the Broncos are not good. Joe McKnight will likely be Shonn Greene's backup in the game and the third down back.
