Week 12 Friday Practice Injuries Report

For those that missed it, this week's Start/ Sit has already been posted:
Week 12 Start/ Sit Part 1: QBs
Week 12 Start/ Sit Part 2: RBs
Week 12 Start/ Sit Part 3: WRs
Week 12 Start/ Sit Part 4: TEs
Week 12 Start/ Sit Part 5: Ks and Defenses

This Friday's report does not include any information on players injured in any of Thursday's Thanksgiving games. The most surprising injury related news of the day was that Peyton Hillis practiced and could play on Sunday after being declared out last Monday. The only player in the likely out list that has finally been officially ruled out is Darren McFadden. Everyone else on that list still has not been ruled out for Week 12. For the previous report, see Week 12 Wednesday Practice Injuries Report.  For injuries updates of other players that are not mentioned below, see the ShoutBox. Here are the major injury related news from Friday's practice around the NFL:

Officially Out: Dallas Clark, Darren McFadden, Fred Jackson, Jahvid Best, Miles Austin
Likely Out (but no official word yet): Adrian Peterson, Ahmad Bradshaw, Jeremy Maclin, Malcom Floyd, Mario Manningham, Michael Vick

Peyton Hillis- returned to practice on Friday and now is a game time decision. He was declared out on Monday, but it now appears that he could be active on Sunday and making the running back situation in Cleveland for Week 12 even worse for fantasy owners. Stay away from Montario Hardesty, Chris Ogbonnaya and Hillis this week.

Ahmad Bradshaw- did not practice again on Friday, but has not been ruled out yet for Monday's game against the Saints. Expectations are that Bradshaw will sit out and Brandon Jacobs will start and carry the load again.

Mario Manningham- was held out again from practice on Friday and according to beat writer Jeff Roberts, he is unlikely to play on Monday night.

Adrian Peterson- missed another practice on Friday and is listed as doubtful. While Peterson has said that he expects to play on Sunday against the Falcons, all signs point towards him missing Week 12 and possibly returning in Week 13. Toby Gerhart in all likelihood should get the start  this week in an unattractive matchup with Atlanta's #2 ranked run defense.

Jeremy Maclin- was held out again from practice for the second straight day on Friday and is listed as doubtful. Riley Cooper led the Eagles with 12 targets last week and should be in line for another start against the weak Patriots secondary.

Michael Vick- missed Friday's practice and is listed as questionable. Vince Young has taken all the first team reps this week and should start again in Week 12.

Joseph Addai- was able to have a full practice again on Friday, but is listed as questionable. It looks like Addai could be active as part of a three back committee with Donald Brown and Delone Carter on Sunday. The matchup is great, but predicting which running back will do well is becoming like dealing with Shanahan and the Redskins running backs.

Ryan Matthews- returned to a full practice on Friday and is listed as probable. It is now expected that he will start on Sunday against the Broncos, but fantasy owners should realize that he could re-injure himself at anytime.
