Week 10 Start/ Sit Part 1: QBs

An expanded version with players from readers' feedback included will be posted on Saturday. This post will take a look at some weekly matchups not involving top-tier players such as Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Arian Foster, Adrian Peterson, Ray Rice, Chris Johnson (finally got back on track in Week 9), Darren McFadden (out again this week) and Calvin Johnson. Here are the starts and sits for Week 10:

QB

Start 'Em

Philip Rivers (vs. Raiders)- Rivers was back to his old self in Week 9 against the Packers. With the short week for Oakland's defense to adjust from defending Tebow to Rivers, look for Rivers to have another great week to kickoff Week 10 in Thursday Night Football.

Mark Sanchez (vs. Patriots)- this is the third straight week that a quarterback going against New England is in this list. Sanchez has been inconsistent this whole season, but he should be able to do well against one of the weakest secondaries in the league.

Tim Tebow (at Chiefs)- Tebow is in this list for the fourth straight week. The Broncos tweaked their offense and now use a college style zone read option that has helped Tebow's numbers even more. Same line of reasoning applies this week as last week, Tebow should be able to produce fantasy points (and that's all that matters in here) if he can avoid injuries or being benched.

Sit 'Em

Sam Bradford (at Browns)- Bradford did not produce last week in a great matchup against a bad Arizona secondary. This week he faces a much tougher Cleveland defense with shutdown corner Joe Haden. There is no reason to expect the Rams offense to suddenly wake up and light the world on fire in this game.

Curtis Painter (vs. Jaguars)- Painter struggled and was benched last week. The Colts offense has been terrible this whole season and now they are without Dallas Clark up against a strong Jacksonville defense. Painter and the Colts will continue to "Suck for Luck" in their march towards winning the Andrew Luck Sweepstakes.

Tarvaris Jackson (vs. Ravens)- Jackson is still not fully healthy and will be on the road against the feared Baltimore defense. Anyone counting on Jackson in this matchup should have their heads examined.
