Week 11 Friday Practice Injuries Report

For those that missed it, this week's Start/ Sit has already been posted:
Week 11 Start/ Sit Part 1: QBs
Week 11 Start/ Sit Part 2: RBs
Week 11 Start/ Sit Part 3: WRs
Week 11 Start/ Sit Part 4: TEs
Week 11 Start/ Sit Part 5: Ks and Defenses

This Friday's report is very similar to yesterday's and does not include any information on players injured in last night's Thursday Night Football. A few players (Ahmad Bradshaw, Darren McFadden, Jacoby Ford and Jahvid Best) that were expected to sit out were finally ruled out today. Everyone else has a tough hill to climb in order to play this weekend. For the previous report, see Week 11 Thursday Practice Injuries Report. Players that were expected or already declared out on Wednesday and Thursday are only listed in the officially out section in here, but do not have additional information below. Here are the major injury related news from Thursday's practice around the NFL:

Officially Out: Ahmad Bradshaw, Darren McFadden, Jacoby Ford, Jahvid Best, LaDainian Tomlinson, Malcom Floyd, Peyton Hillis
Likely Out or Not Expected to Play (but not official word yet): A.J. Green, Jeremy Maclin, Julio Jones, Kevin Kolb, Michael Vick, Montario Hardesty

Frank Gore- listed as questionable for Week 11, but on Thursday and confirmed that he will play on Sunday. Something to keep in mind is that coach Jim Harbough has said that even if Gore plays on Sunday against the Cardinals, his role could be limited. His backup of course is one of the Week 11 Adds of the week, Kendall Hunter who could be seeing increasing amounts of carries in the future.

Julio Jones- missed a third straight practice on Friday and is listed as questionable. All signs points towards Jones sitting out Week 11. As mentioned before in Week 10 Major Injuries Report from Sunday (Monday Update Part 2), if Jones is out then Harry Douglas could benefit, the key word being could.

Michael Vick- missed his third straight practice on Friday and is listed as questionable. According to Adam Schefter on Wednesday, Vick is unlikely to play in Sunday's game against the Giants. Vince Young is expected to get the start in Week 11.

A.J. Green- was held out of a third straight practice on Friday and is listed as doubtful. According to John Clayton, Green also a bone bruise in addition to his hyperextended knee. Green is not expected to play on Sunday against the Ravens and Andre Caldwell would get the start in his place.

Jeremy Maclin- missed a third straight practice on Thursday and is listed as questionable. According to John Clayton, Vick has a better chance of playing than Maclin so expectations are that Maclin will be out in Week 11.

Malcom Floyd- missed a third straight practice on Friday and has been ruled out for Week 11. Vincent Brown will get another start in a matchup with the Bears.

Stevie Johnson- had a second straight limited practice on Friday and is listed as questionable. Coach Chan Gailey was optimistic that he will play.

Montario Hardesty- returned to limited practice on Friday, but only did individual work and no team drills. Coach Pat Shurmur is saying that Hardesty will be a game time decision, but it is hard to believe he will play this week. Look for Chris Ogbonnaya to get another start.

Kevin Kolb- was limited in practice every day of this week and is listed as questionable. John Skelton is expected to get another start on Sunday against the 49ers.
