Week 9 Adds

This post will provide a list of some of the best available waiver pickups for this upcoming Week 9 and beyond. Just like last week, none of the Redskins running backs are included in this list because who knows what Mike Shanahan is going to do with his backfield on any give Sunday. Most of the names (DeMarco Murray, Jackie Battle, Knowshon Moreno, Demaryius Thomas, Jabar Gaffney, Cincinnati Defense) mentioned last week in Week 8 Adds are still good waiver adds this week. Without rambling anymore, here's the list:

Matt Cassel- has not been consistent at all this season, but has a great matchup this week against the Dolphins.

Jonathan Baldwin- staying in Kansas City, Baldwin had a nice start to his season on Monday Night Football against the Chargers and will be going against the Dolphins this week. There is no guarantee that he will be as good this week, but the upside is there for those who want to gamble.

Javon Ringer- it looks like the Titans backfield is heading towards a committee. Chris Johnson, has been pathetic this year and Ringer's role could continue to increase. At this point, Ringer is at the very least a good roster stash.

Chris Ogbonnaya- with Montario Hardesty out and Peyton Hillis "day to day," Ogbonnaya is fantasy relevant at least for this week. If Hillis is out, then he will get a start against his former team, the Texans. He could turn out to be a decent one week bye week fill in.

Brent Celek- he has not done much since Michael Vick became the quarterback of the Eagles, but he has had two strong weeks in a row. His matchup Week 9 will be against a Bears defense that is usually very generous to fantasy tight ends.
