Week 9 Major Injuries Report from Sunday Update

Original post: Week 9 Major Injuries Report from Sunday

Most of that post is included below with the updated parts in bold. If you want to read any old deleted portions refer to the link above.

Sunday of Week 9 was even quieter than last week, Week 8, in terms of injuries to key players and this was after last Sunday's improvement and lighter injury report over the previous one in Week 7. The only key player to suffer an injury was Miles Austin, everyone else listed in this report is in the fringes of fantasy land. Let's get to them and their fantasy implications:

Miles Austin- expected to be out 2-4 weeks after aggravating his hamstring. Laurent Robinson should start alongside Dez Bryant.

Nate Washington- the Titans are now describing the injury as a hip bruise instead of a hip pointer and coach Mike Munchak expects Washington to play in Week 10. If he is out, then Damian Williams and Lavelle Hawkins will be the starters.

Dallas Clark- coach Jim Caldwell said that Clark's injury is significant and could last more than a week. There is speculation that the injury could be season ending. Jacob Tamme is the pickup if anyone wants to gamble on the Colts passing game.

Mohamed Massaquoi- was sent home from Browns park with concussion symptoms. He already has had two concussions this season, the first one in training camp and the second one in Week 7. If he is out again then Joshua Cribbs will start alongside Greg Little.

Hines Ward- left the game with a concussion in the first quarter. Anytime he is forced to miss will increase Antonio Brown's value. There was no update today.

Frank Gore- sustained a left ankle sprain and was walking gingerly after the game. He was able to finish the game. If he is out, then Kendall Hunter (who dislocated a finger during the game) would get the start.
