Week 11 ended with the Patriots destroying of the Chiefs on Monday Night Football. The Top 25 points scorers in a standard Yahoo! Public League has a few surprises, especially with the top spot going to Kevin Smith after his monster game this past Sunday. Here's the the list:

Another week, another running back in top spot. A running back is at the top of the list for the sixth time in seven weeks. Smith being in the top spot came out of left field considering that he was just picked by the Lions recently and did not do much last week. He should be able to put up some good numbers with Jahvid Best still out so his appearance in this list could be more than a one week thing. Rounding out the top 5 were some players that have been expected to put up good numbers in Matthew Stafford,  Cam Newton, Ray Rice and Aaron Rodgers. The highest wide receiver this week was at #8, Jordy Nelson who has been having a great season in Green Bay. The next receiver after him was Torrey Smith at #11, who I was expecting a big game from as mentioned in the ShoutBox last Thursday.

Now onto the surprises in the rest of the top 25 of Week 11. The most notable ones are Rex Grossman, Chris Ogbonnaya, Jabar Gaffney and LeGarrette Blount at #6, #16, #23 and #24 respectively. None of them were expected to put up good numbers are at all on Sunday and going forward it will still be surprising if they make a return to this list in Week 12. As expected the surprises from the top 25 of Week 10 (John Skelton, Denarius Moore, Marshawn Lynch, Ed Dickson and Reggie Bush) did put up enough fantasy points to return this week.

As usual for Yahoo! leagues, quarterbacks have a large presence at the top thanks to the scoring format and everybody should keep this in mind when looking at the numbers from some of the quarterbacks in the bottom range (such as Christian Ponder, Josh Freeman, Alex Smith, Matt Moore this week, and John Skelton and Alex Smith last week).
