Week 10 Wednesday Practice Injuries Report

This Wednesday report will have an initial focus on players and their availability for tomorrow's Thursday Night Football game between the Chargers and Raiders. For the previous report, see Major Week 9 Injuries from Sunday Update. Here are the major injury related news from Wednesday's practice around the NFL:

Officially Out: Darren McFadden, Miles Austin, Montario Hardesty, Peyton Hillis

Darren McFadden- has been finally declared out for tomorrow's game. Michael Bush will start again with Taiwan Jones as the change of pace back. Expectations should be similar to Week 9, Bush should be able to post solid numbers while Jones is only for those desperate gamblers.

Malcom Floyd- listed as doubtful for Week 10 and coach Norv Turner said that Floyd has a chance to be active in a limited role in Thursday's game against the Raiders.

Ryan Matthews- practiced fully for the second straight day and appears to be ready for Thursday's matchup against the Raiders. It looks like he will be active, but will lose more than the usual third down and goal line carries to Mike Tolbert.

Ahmad Bradshaw- did not practice Wednesday, but coach Tom Coughlin said that Bradshaw is better than last week and walking around. Even if he plays Week 10, don't expect a full load out of him.

Peyton Hillis- both Hillis and Montario Hardesty have been ruled out for Week 10. Chris Ogbonnaya will get another start, but don't expect much out of him.

Frank Gore- he was limited in practice on Wednesday and had a pronounced limp. It is worth keeping and eye on this situation. Kendall Hunter will be the beneficiary if Gore is out or limited on Sunday.

Hakeem Nicks- ran and cut full speed on the side of practice on Wednesday and is expected to graduate to individual drills on Thursday. For now, he is expected back on the field this Sunday.

Andre Johnson- did not run in Wednesday's practice after running four out of the last five days. Coach Gary Kubiak expects Johnson to be a "weekend decision," but in most likelihood he will not be back until Week 12 after the Texans' bye week in Week 11.

Beanie Wells- was limited in practice on Wednesday. All signs points towards Wells playing on Sunday against the Eagles, but you should lower your expectations even with that great matchup on paper.
