Week 12 Major Injuries Report from Sunday

This Sunday was very light in terms of major injuries to key players and one could argue that the two players that will be mentioned below are not really important fantasy contributors. Let's get to the two key players that suffered major injuries in Week 12 and their fantasy implications:

Matt Leinart- suffered a broken left collarbone and is done for the season. T.J. Yates is the next quarterback up for the Texans and this dumps an ice bucket of cold water on the fantasy owners of Andre Johnson just as he made his return in Week 12. According to Peter King, Texans GM Rick Smith confirmed that Houston has no interest in Brett Favre and according to Mike Florio, Houston will sign Brodie Croyle to compete with Kellen Clemens for the backup spot.

Sidney Rice- left the game with a concussion, his second in three weeks. Seahawks play on Thursday against the Eagles next and chances are that Rice will not be cleared by then. With Rice out, Doug Baldwin could be in line for increased targets.
