Week 9 Friday Practice Injuries Report Part 1

The major surprise today was Peyton Hillis and the aggravation of his hamstring that will have him sidelined for some time. There were a some players that were expected to be out in Thursday's report (Week 9 Thursday Practice Injuries Report), that have officially declared as out. Here is Part 1 of the major injury related news and updates from Thursday's practice around the NFL:

Officially Out: Andre Johnson, Darren McFadden, Mark Ingram, Peyton Hillis.

Andre Johnson- officially declared out. Not much should change from previous weeks in terms of the fantasy expectations for the rest of the Texans offense.

Darren McFadden- has been officially ruled out. Michael Bush will get the start and Taiwan Jones will be the change of pace back.

Mark Ingram- officially ruled out. Look for Pierre Thomas and Chris Ivory should split the early downs carries while Darren Sproles continues to be the passing back.

Peyton Hillis- aggravated his hamstring during practice and MRI results confirmed that it was a significant aggravation. He should be out at least a couple of weeks and Chris Ogbonnaya will be the Browns starting running back for the foreseeable future.

Kevin Kolb- missed practice again and is officially listed as doubtful, but will probably sit out. John Skelton should be the starting quarterback this Sunday against the Rams.

Willis McGahee- returned to full practice and is listed as probable. If McGahee is healthy and playing on Sunday, then Knowshon Moreno and Lance Ball will be relegated back to their backup roles.
