Week 10 Start/ Sit Part 1: QBs
Week 10 Start/ Sit Part 2: RBs
An expanded version with players from readers' feedback included will be posted on Saturday. This is Part 3 of the starts and sits for Week 10:
WR
Start 'Em
Jeremy Maclin (vs. Cardinals)- Maclin has been the best receiver on the Eagles this season. He will be facing a dream matchup against Arizona's defense and one of the worst secondaries in the NFL. Maclin should have no problem posting up huge numbers in Week 10.
Julio Jones (vs. Saints)- Jones is in this list for the second straight week. He was able to take advantage of last week's great matchup against the Colts and had a monster game. This Sunday, he will face a Saints team that is tied for sixth in touchdowns allowed to wide receivers. Jones should be in line for another big stat line.
Antonio Brown (at Bengals)- this is the third straight week that Brown makes this list. Hines Ward had a concussion in Week 9 and Emmanuel Sanders is still out. Brown should be able to continue posting up solid numbers in Pittsburgh's surprising passing attack.
Sit 'Em
Darius Heyward-Bay (at Chargers)- Heyward-Bay's disappearing act in Week 9 against the Broncos was surprising to say the least. He only played 12 snaps and was targeted once. Oakland is deep at wideout (with Jacoby Ford, Denarius Moore and the recent signing of T.J. Houshmandzadeh)and right now it is impossible to predict how the rotation will shake out. Based on last week, Ford would be the best option against San Diego, but it really is a toss up.
Demaryius Thomas (at Chiefs)- Thomas has done nothing since Week 7 against the Dolphins when he was Tim Tebow's favorite target. With the Broncos new college based, spread zone read offense and decreasing passing attack, Thomas should be firmly rooted on the bench especially now that it looks like he is behind Eric Decker and Eddie Royal in the pecking order. Out of the three for Week 10 against Kansas City, Decker is the only one that should be started.
Brandon Lloyd (at Browns)- Lloyd has returned to the good graces of fantasy owners since his reunion with Josh McDaniels in St. Louis, but he should not be used this week against Cleveland. He will face shutdown corner Joe Haden as a part of a still bad Rams offense. There is no reason for anyone to expect any different from the Rams offense after half a season of ineptitude in a bad matchup.
