Week 10 Adds

This post will provide a list of some of the best available waiver pickups for this upcoming Week 10 and beyond. Unlike the previous two weeks, there is a Redskins running back in this list but keep in mind that you will be dealing with Mike Shanahan and nobody knows what will do with his backfield on any given Sunday. From last weeks' post, Week 9 Adds, a couple of players (Chris Ogbonnaya and Brent Celek) and some of the names (DeMarco Murray, Jackie Battle and Jabar Gaffney) mentioned in Week 8 Adds are still good waiver adds if they are still available. Without rambling anymore, here's the list:

Andy Dalton- he is being overshadowed by super rookie quarterback Cam Newton, but had quietly put up some solid numbers and is on pace to finish the season with 3,392 yards and 26 touchdowns.

Tim Tebow- he should not be available in any competitive leagues, but if he is then run and pick him up. Tebow is a great at putting up fantasy numbers even terrible actual games such as the one against the Lions. Owners just have to pray that he is not benched and that he stays healthy.

Ben Tate- he posted another 100 yards game while being Arian Foster's backup. The Texans are running on everybody at will and there should be no reason why this will stop anytime soon.

Roy Helu- he started ahead of Ryan Torain in Week 9 and saw most of the backfield catches. As of today, he appears to have the starting job, but just keep in mind the Shanahan factor previously mentioned in the introduction.

Laurent Robinson- with Miles Austin out 2-4 weeks, Robinson will start and he has put solid numbers the last couple of weeks. He should turn out to be a good pick up at least in the short term.

Jacoby Ford- he finally had a breakout game to justify his preseason sleeper status. It is hard to predict how the Raiders' receiving core will shake out with Darrius Heyward-Bey and Denarius Moore already having their time in the spotlight this season, but after such a breakout game, Ford name has to appear in this list.
